Everyone said it was his best bet to just fallback for least 6 months to a year, quality of music been downhill for last 4-5 years from him and a much needed break would of faired fans and himself good.

I feel like you just had to be there for Cam. I can see how someone going back and listening to Cam 10 years after the fact may not be impressed. But at the time it was innovative and unique, plus stylistically it was a lot different than previous generations of NY rap which made it more palatable to different regions imo. Punchline rap hadn't been parodied to death at that point either. Fabulous was another one like that. You couldn't tell no one Fab and Cam aint have bars back then. Didn't age so well tho.

I caught Juelz in real time but being younger I had to double back for Cam

SDE and Diplomatic Immunity absolutely but it seem like after Purple Haze he switched to a more goofier style
