Didn’t C walk from one of his charges and is in jail for a different one? The one he’s in jail for they have no evidence, DNA and two witnesses that said they were coerced into saying they saw C kill someone. Louisiana judicial system still in the 1700s. People saying voting don’t matter, those southern judicial systems are a perfect example. Louisiana got nothing but republicans running that system and they’ve got mad people locked up without any evidence. They were the only state that didn’t require a unanimous jury to convict and they just changed that a couple years ago but it doesn’t effect cases prior to the law change.

They had released him due to some issues with his initial conviction, but they ultimately retried him and convicted him to life again.
