Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Its lame addressing anyone besides the intended target, it’s been corny, but it’s funny seeing people having conditional opinions on how a response would go if bars were sent at Kanye

We heard him diss Kanye already, step to the man that tore you and your family down. It's lame to you but it definitely wasn't lame to Aubrey. **** hurt his soul, which is the point of battle rapping. If it didn't hurt, we would have been heard a response.

It's like getting socked in the face and instead of going to attack the dude that punched you, you try to get at the guy standing to the side that laughed

That’s what I don’t get tho

Push’s disses were aimed at everyone around Drake, a portion of it was at Drake, I agree that it SHOULD be between them two, but Adidon was far from being that

How much y’all think Pusha gives a ****?What if Drake sneak disses or does anything to provoke a response from Pusha? Y’all think Push would involve J Prince in his bars at all?

Everyone treats him like the boogeyman. Everywhere I’ve seen him he gets treated with the utmost respect.

Bro your fandom is showing, The only thing said in that Diss that didn't Play off Drake was the last 10 seconds when he clapped at 40.

Everything about Drake's Dad & Mom were completely brought back in that record to show analyze why Drake has a problem with Family structure/his WELL documented issues with woman. Dude whole concept of the track was attacking his nice guy/ women friendly persona by exposing him for hiding a child. The dynamic of his moms & pops relationship was used to further explain why he would have that reaction to his kid.

Wasn't like this was just random shots at his family.

Y’all remember G-Unit 2.0?

Shawty Lo (RIP)
Genasis

Kidd Kidd slander? Do you not remember the infamous XXL cover he was on?

100% chance Push throws a bar at Drake about that in the next loose song he drops :lol

Anyone notice how J Prince's press run has tried to distract people from the Drake/Pusha T beef. Nobody was even talking about violence or it leading to something else, because it's Drake. Now it's not even about the competition anymore. :smh:

I remember Shawty Lo saying he signed to G-Unit for a crazy amount and 50 being pissed

Killing over rap beef is dumb, killing over one involving Drake is asinine. Neither diss had any implied threats of violence, Pusha came out and said nothing physical is going down on his side, Prince just dont want his prized trophy getting tarnished. He would of been better off just keeping this **** private, Drake would of lost the respect of purist everywhere but after he dropped some hits the noise of that would die down.

Not sure why but I went ahead a pressed play, he called out journalist/reporters questioning their integrity, I hope he made all that **** known to his co-workers at complex

"I don't kill soloist I only kill squads"

How has it been corny when the whole squad has always caught a few strays in rap beef since the very beginning.

J Prince is trying to make it so nobody goes after Drake again. He knows Drake is looking weak and a target. Especially since he's the top dog. These young dudes don't care though. Especially if they're not from Houston.

They'r bluffing with the song talk. Drake can't threaten violence. What is he going to do, go at Kanye? After Trump people would probably be rooting for Drake. Kanye has hurt himself more than anyone else can hurt him in a song.

It doesn't even make sense. Definitely trying to protect his investment.

J Prince needs to sit his *** down. It's like your dad coming to school. I was going to fight you, but you're lucky my dad stepped in. I hope people don't think Drake is supposed to get points for this and some super diss song rumor.
