That’s your opinion of course. That’s the problem with debating music tho, we all here it differently and have different tastes and preferences. Everyone’s Top 10 is different for a reason.
I’d like to hear your explanation without looking at it subjectively tho. ie in terms of not only MC ability (writing, wordplay storytelling, flow and delivery, cadence, etc), but also cultural impact and impact on rap, classic albums, originality, relevance, sales and hits, etc.
Where exactly does Em land on your list? You named some great artists and Black Thought is in my top 10 too, but definitely not over Eminem considering his track record.

By the time Wayne came into his own...BG wasn’t BG anymore. You talking bout mid-late 90s BG. I’m talking about Wayne circa Squad up, Dedication, Carter, Suffix etc era. He was 100% looked at as a street rapper (in the same vein as TI/Jeezy etc). Hence them supposed to be “Boyz in da Hood”.
The last 10 years of Wayne made some of y’all forget who and what he was in his prime.
Thing about Wayne is there are quite a few versions of him. From the time he was introduced with the hot boys...up until lollipop...he was in a different lane of a rapper...and wasn’t looked at as “goofy” until later in his career...and the height of his commercial success but lows of his musicality.

Because you guys constantly leave off people like Melle Mel, Chuck, Ice Cube, Rakim, KRS, Kane, LL on your list. In fact you act like the first 20 years of hip hop didn't even exist.
Then give Eminem bonus points for it as if he invented or stated something.

You’re an old school and underground type of guy, we get it. But it’s 2018 bro come up for some sunshine and get with the times.
What rappers have contributed to the game is only one part of the equation if you’re really trying to look at what really makes someone the best.
And KRS and Rakim are in my top 10 btw

I don't know if age plays a factor, but I'm sure I heard or read somewhere that a younger human is more "malleable" and receptive to certain things.
Could have been the case for me, but for the wrong reasons.
