Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

This era is so weird to me. *****s beefing with heart floaties and that 400 dude gives off strong gaydar signals.

“That PAWRTTTTTT, hol’ uppp”

Only females should be saying “That part” (even them saying it is stupid)

IMO, any n_ that gladly says “sis” and stuff like the “that part” are ‘omo. Straight feminine, smh

(No straight man should be talking like that)

It’s a reason pac wanted to work with Scarface...
eh
pac and scarface
were more like friends
and wasnt like fiending to work with each other
but would they were more cool with just kicking it with each other
than doing music together
they had genuine love for each other
though pac had the better verse on smile
verse still gives me chills

"Gucci trash"
Lol

Who's like the hood megastar that has the buzz, influence and reach like Jeezy or Gucci these days?

Honestly no one.
It's like the bar was set lol

Trap or die by jeezy
Trap house by Gucci
Etc
Alotta songs now get old real quick

Tracks like those will never get old.

There is no comparison for Gucci mane or young jeezy in the southern scene today.

It's all an afterthought.

NBA and Kodak, or, are we talking older mature guys? Cause Jeezy was 28 years old, when he caught flame
Anyone really, like who's killing this era like that on the come up. With all the names mentioned, they have a lane but not like those two, I kinda agree with SC. I'm out of touch though if anyone has evidence to the contrary.

Big lies.

How you going to say that when Future passed both Jeezy & Gucci? :lol.

Future is definitely THAT guy in the south now. Even if you don't like his music his influence and the way he's gotten bigger and bigger, the long list of anthems, you can't deny what he's done. He's probably passed Jeezy. Jeezy had like a good 4 years. He was on fire then as time went on he faded.

a great album
but i disagreei love this albumbut ross has made a better album
than tm101
Just off top Deeper Than Rap, TI's King, Big Krit's last album. 101 is great but it's a few albums better.

I think a lot of jeezy fading was by his design though. He was alrrady old when he got national buzz. Plus he stayed getting writing credits long after he was no longer sought out as a featured artist.

Put his son through college while he told us it was trap or die lol...I ain't mad though..played the game the right way.
