Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

How was he? I didn't even know he was an artist.

He was actually cool, seem like he got some talent.

I got to the set late and didn’t really get to hear much of his personal ****, they did a ODB tribute and had him spit some of his pops verses which was hella cool to see

Watching Jill Scott do that is like watching that aunt u grew up with, or that nice church lady doing that

I'm cool on the biggums

They might have nice faces, but I never want to see them naked

Auto tune alive in well in 2018 #thesouthdontrespectjay :pimp:

As far as jerseys, _’s was already starting to fall back on them after White Tee came out and _’s was stomping out throwback jerseys in the video

That song kinda leveled the hood fashion playing field, everybody couldn’t get jerseys but anybody could hustle up $20 for some tall tees now you fresh and on trend

Only thing is you had to have the footlocker ones with the red sticker

White Tee came out after Jay said that. After What more can I say it was a obvious switch in styles. Young dudes started rocking button ups and everything.

Remind me of this one chick I use to hit back in the day

Real pretty face. Body in her outfits looked amazing. But when them clothes came off, everything just fell. Her monkey and mouth game offset all of that.

I’d pipe Jill Scott tho :hat

Oh yeah white tee's been in forever. They was stamped up here before that song. I give Jay credit for killing jerseys and making button ups hot though. I saw the switch happen in high school and the whole area.
