I think more people look at Tory as a rapper than Swae Lee cuz Tory does rap. Swae is either singing or atleast doing some type of harmonize flow. We been in a weird place in rap where a lot of these dudes are not rappers but called it. I don't look at Future, Swae Lee, Quavo, Thug as rappers but they're talented and great at that style. I just call their **** harmonizing. It's alot of talentless dudes milking that style and hiding behind it cuz it's easy duplicate with beats and just copying other dudes style.

Max B and Devin The Dude are not "rappers" in the traditional sense but GREAT at making records with that melodic ****.

this goes back to what @VARNELL HILL said about people lumping all black music with certain stylistic choices and certain subject matter into “hip hop/rap”
