Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Nah I mean Trouble potentially had more widespread mainstream/crossover appeal but Alley was literally right on the cusp of being that Gucci type figure. Had all the co-signs, the streets, blogs, hipsters, major label ready to push him etc

This dumb *** _ dissed TIP and Jeezy, 2 dudes who were close as hell with people at Atlantic Records and also 2 of their bigger artists at the time, while also being signed to Atlantic Records  :smh:

They were in the building rooting for him and tryna help him too lol

Couple months after he dissed them Jeezy was named SVP of A&R at Atlantic, _’s knew it was a wrap

Bro was supposed to open up the door for Trouble to backdoor and fumbled the whole operation

Them boys complemented each other well though. Both talented in their own right.

And they actually are good rappers and can craft songs. Alley Boy has a good voice and flow. So does Trubba!

Alley got to big for his britches. He was bubbling good then f**** up.

This song was OUTTA HERE!! Him and Future scraped the plate with this one. I played this song everyday for like 4 months.

Rode round Lauderdale grilling everyone’s. Grandmas, firefighters, chain gang crews. I was dumb about This song

The Miami Dolphins are 15 minutes away from my house. I’ve always been a Cowboys fan. I HATE EVERYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH THEM SORRY A*** Bums.

We call them the Miami Mullets. A lot of cities have various fan themes that seem irregular. I hate the Dolphins so much bruh.

On a somewhat related Wiz note, I remember seeing him on that tour right after Kush & OJ came out and was so hype for the show and I wanna say Yelawolf opened for him and I couldn't stand more than 5 minutes of that goof and had to get as far outta sound reach as possible  . I'm sure he got better live over time , but damn that was horri-awful

But yeah, I hope he's got some heat for the 10 year
