Idk, it’s hard to say. My 12 yr old (who lives with his Mom) is current on today’s rap whereas my 11 yr old who lives with me is not as current. He knows some stuff from school like The Box, Life is Good but based on his 2019 Spotify Wrap Up, that boy is clueless

I’m sure if he saw P & Them or Top Dawg etc...hed recognize what it is as their management/label. He’s worked with J Rock since like 08 and Migos since 13. He’s familiar with the set up.
I just don’t think in conversational setting that Wayne is putting 2+2 together and recognizing TDE or QC as labels like Cash Money/Bad Boy/Death row etc.
