Looking at the reactions in here is ridiculously hilarious because this is one of the exact reasons why Jay elec never dropped his album in the first place, ****** have been eager to **** on him for some time now a lot of Music fans are unappreciative as ****.

Most of the complaints i see ain't even about the quality of the music, about his bars, nothing. dudes are literally slandering him because they don't like that he didn't do it all himself.

Production is A-1, Lyrics A-1, Content A1 squared..... and yet ****** are slandering him because he got one of the GREATEST RAPPERS OF ALL TIME..... to come into his world and deliver on a top level

Still havent listened but reading a lot of disappointed/underwhelmed reactions

If Jay couldn't take the pressure and didnt want to be picked apart there's ways around it; drop 3 albums on the same day (we and you know you got enough material for that) of the same quality. That way your "debut" album cant be knocked.

Or join a "group", new name, and drop albums. Its as easy pairing yourself with some dope producer. Link up with Madlib, guaranteed flames.

If someone don't like the album cool that's a preference, but i'm seeing people say yea i like the music, i like the raps but **** him because JAY-Z has better verses on his album. ****** actin like he clicked up with Nav & got outshined

On a sidenote from that Album, this new offbeat flow Jay's been tapping into since 4:44 annoying me. It worked for that album but he's to sharp with his flow to be doing this. And it's not like he lost it because his flow on Smile off 4:44 was insane.

Jay Elect has built himself into this god MC and he ain't delivered. Son was doing videos critiquing other rappers and how he better than them but he ain't stepping in the ring.

And I'll say it the quality of this album ain't GREAT. It's good but this don't even sound like a album. It sounds like songs him and Jay did over the years, some old some new and just picked 10 songs. He got a joint on here that dropped a decade ago. For Jay Elect this album was a safety net. The rapping is good, good content. That's never been the question about him. That's why so many people built into his hype. He's a great rapper but nah you can't have somebody else murk on your "debut album". This was very much a Hov stimulus.

If the actual project was fire & the album was still true to 3K i honestly wouldn't care personally. However if someone isn't a fan of Jay/Big boi then i would see the issue

a few things here

1) i don't follow Jay Elec close enough to know that he was calling other rappers out, as far as i know i ain't hear the ***** speak in atleast 3 years
2) what eveyone likes is subjective, but you said the album quality is good, the rapping is good & the content is good, so how was it a safety net? he has quality there with or w/o Jay.

I feel like people are upset because he didn't fulfill the hype that they created for themselves over the years. And again there is no shame in getting outshined by one of the greatest rappers in history

If he came out on this **** talking about Maybachs & closing deals with the RothChilds or some **** i could see the issue, but the Jay we got on here was very much an artist in Jay elecs world.

A project can be underwhelming and good. Which is what it is. They said it was recorded in 40 days which is how it sounds in some ways. Never mind the fact that Hov bodies your debut.
