It was mostly based on where you were from and how it hit your demographic. These records are all of their time. All of this good music finds its way back eventually. A lot of people couldn't see Cash Money or any hip-hop records from the late '90s- '00s being held in high regard decades later. Music is nowhere near what it was, but it's the younger generations keeping this stuff alive.
