Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Ironic considering none of those ****** have anything as good as GRODT, Hunger For More, or Straight Outta Cashville

Go to hell.

Deeper Than Rap and Teflon Don are better than GRODT.

Meeks Dream Chaser series is better than any Banks album or tape. I had all that G-unit **** back in the day and a lot of it ain't age good. Cashville and Documentary are the only ones I can play right now top to bottom.

The difference between Mannie & Scott is that Scott had the freedom to play around with different artists. Meanwhile, Mannie pretty much stuck to his Cash Money group & that New Orleans bounce sound. Should have known Scott was going to win this battle before hand.

As for T Pain, I'm glad he backed out. I would personally like to see him battle up against David Banner. That would be an equal playing field because Lil Jon might eat T Pain up as well.

Not the entire story . Manny had the last 15 years to make music after Baby didn't pay him . I remember Manny doing a track for Jezzy

Yeah he branched out to other southern rappers, but Mannie for the most part of his career has stuck to his roots like most black people in the south do. He's not chasing those pop/r&b #1 type songs like Scott. He sticks to trap music/ NOLA bounce. They both should have been matched up against others that fit into their respective categories. Seems like this battle was only put together because of their OG status in the game. I saw where somebody mentioned having a Cash Money vs No Limit battle would have been a great thing and I agree with that.

Who they?

This the only Benny Blanco I know
