That Pinkprint album did well, then she took years off after the infamous world tour w Meek and never really shook back

That’s right. I knew she had ONE record recently, that was in legit rotation. But outside of that? Quiet. Her fan base now is the flamboyant gay dudes and her hardcore stans now.

She tripled down into being un-likeable . No self awareness whatsoever, and out of touch. But she has talent for visually going viral and ranting.

I swear. I’ve seen the aerial view of her Twerking and looking into the camera just about every year .

So many of these new Nicki tracks will debut in the top 10 then will be at 197 two weeks after none of her stuff has been truly hitting and now there’s multiple female rappers in the game getting a lot of attention. She should open up some fashion boutiques like Rasheeda or something. Rap passed her by.

Idk about Classic...but every tape/album he’s dropped has been some of the best music to come out that year. His consistency is crazy.

And Not on NT . You got a subset of rap fans that just won’t acknowledge it. And it is, what it is. But people in real life know wsup . Even my 40-45 & up fellas be rocking with shorty.

He hasn’t dropped one bad project. His catalog crazy, for just having started Rapping. And we viewing it in real time. You are consistently, going to have the rap conservatives try to write him off, dismiss him, or say he’s not going to be here long. And every year...proved wrong. We’re now in year 3...of consistently great music. He’s carrying on the tradition of rap, the right way. And it’s clear to those who can see it.

I wasn't impressed by his last album. Maybe I should give it some more spins. I think he's gotten super overrated. I liked his stuff before he blew up. It was more raw, emotional, and less generic. That 2017 run he had was great to me. His recent stuff is more of the typical designer talk, which is fine because that's where he is in life right now, but it gets repetitive. This new song is a breath of fresh air.

I wasn't impressed by his last album. Maybe I should give it some more spins. I think he's gotten super overrated. I liked his stuff before he blew up. It was more raw, emotional, and less generic. That 2017 run he had was great to me. His recent stuff is more of the typical designer talk, which is fine because that's where he is in life right now, but it gets repetitive. This new song is a breath of fresh air.

I gotta revisit his last album because I didn’t rock with it as much as his first but I feel like he’s more versatile now. He’s getting on different production in comparison to when he first came out . Early on while it may have been more raw, it was a little repetitive to me. Early on, I would’ve never expected him to get on a beat like this


That song he dropped yesterday dumb hard tho. He can do this **** easily. He’s already cemented in my eyes but give him a few years, and he’ll be on top of the trap lane like Future is now. And if he gets into his bag on more tracks like he is on this one, then it’s a wrap

I like the 2017 **** better too. But the new joint got some bangers. It’s better after a few listens. Seems like an album that’s more for “everybody”, and There’s a lot of songs, so some fat could be trimmed. But he still in the bag where he talking that ****. The high points on my turn....are really high. The low points, are generic, but still straight.

Nah nobody cared about her beef with vulture Miley (if that was even real). “Shether” and Cardi’s rise aided in Nicki’s career declining outside of pop hits. Shether smacked her like a ton of bricks, and even with Remy trying to “Back 2 Back” Nicki with that weaker follow up, Nicki no had real answer. Remy won her BET award, and BET was pretty much making it clear that Nicki wasn’t a priority anymore. Cardi was ascending with hit after hit while Nicki was on IG posting pics with unbothered captions. All that plus Nicki having the same social media awareness as Meek Mill and KD just made people sour on her and move on. Even Barbs have been struggling.

Nicki decline started when she went to pop. Unfortunately she came out in a time that no longer operates on the kind of career she had. She came from doing mixtapes which got her her base. She then delved in that lane and took to long to come back. It’s wild that she been out for this long and only has 3 albums. ***** think she Kendrick Lamar or something. Looking back at it, that hurt her more than anything because once she came back, rap was in a new space

Shether was a haymaker, how she handled the Cardi situation was the nail in the coffin. She could’ve been in the situation to in which female rappers looked at her like these youngins did with Gucci, but she fumbled the ball because of who she is and her trash team. Also could probably blame Wayne a little bit.
