It’s 100% his putrid middle school sounding voice, cause he does have some nice songs, but I can’t get past his voice at all, especially over the course of a full album.

Those NY drill dudes and moaning crying harmonizers are [mostly] trash but have nothing to do with Big Sean not really being better than any of his peers.

Sean a ok rapper but he has no sound or style. Payroll, Peezy, Vezzo, etc them _'s sound like Detroit. They put you in that city, Big Sean don't put you nowhere.

Sean paints Detroit clear to me. I can even see that man in my head as an extra in 8 Mile (the parking lot scene in the cathedral). He just ain't street dude, but still Detroit through n through & always showing love to the city.
