I’m a Hov stan like the rest of us, save for Nawghty, but you gotta call it how it is. Ether had Hov up on hot97 talking to Angie saying he was “uneasy”. Voice shaking like a shy stripper off a perc and 3 shots of tequila. Hated to see the god go out like that but it is what it is.
The verse he sent to Nas on the Blueprint 2 title track was a good response, but by then it was too late. Damage had been done.
He still the greatest of all time though. Won the war, lost that battle.
