Shuffling the 3 MMG Self Made albums right now, and there’s was some dope stuff on these, but I never felt like they were a true crew in the likes of RR, Roc, CMR, or present day crews like TDE, GxFr, ASAP Mob, etc. They always seemed like a bunch of dudes cordial to each other that happened to be on the same label. Made for some good songs though, and 10-12 peak MMG couldn’t miss.
