Wait, that would come out to be 100 scarves? I have no problem with it, but do you really own 100 scarves?Originally Posted by wj4
I don't even look at the brand when I buy scarfs. I just look at the color/pattern. 90% of the scarfs are from Express, the other 10 are probably from Gap.
I have 3 and 2 I never even use.
Seriously. Example: I have 10 scarfs...9 are from Express so 9/10 is .9 x 100 = 90%. The other 1 is from Gap so 1/10 is .1 x 100 = 10%. Hopefully that wasn't too complicated for the guy who thinks I have 100 scarfs.Originally Posted by Frank Mucus

He didn't denote the other percentage because it's assumed.Originally Posted by Knivesdesu
^ Sorry to all you SMHing me, but LETS do the math here:
90% of my scarves are from express
The other 10 are probably from Gap
Ok, I will walk you through elementary story problems here...
90% of the scarves are from express
the other 10 are from gap...
10% of your scarves therefore equals 10 scarves... Therefore 100% of your scarves would equal 100 scarves.
Lets learn how to do remedial math before we start throwing around "SMH"
I could have maybe ASSUMED what you meant dispite the fact you don't know how to use percentages, but being NT I honestly expected you to say "Yeah I own 100 scarves, I'm fresh" or something ridiculous along those lines.

You could have said, "I have nine scarves from Express and one scarf from GAP." That's way less confusing.Originally Posted by wj4

i have the ralph lauren one and its ok it gets the job done. but i paid for a cheaper acryllic one from aldos and it feels better and gets the job done just as well. in case you aren't a polo fan its this one.
luckily i didnt pay for it so i dont care, but if i did have to choose this cashmere one my friend got from macys. its a house brand but it feels softer than the polo one and the acrylic one which i couldnt find a pic of.

Naw he's talking bout percentage. He could have 10 scarves, but they would still be over doing it.Originally Posted by Knivesdesu

That was an example. I guess I can buy one more to make that a true statement. I have 9, 8 that I use to go out, and 1 that I use to run atnight when its cold and windy. It's funny to me that some of my homies thought scarfs on men was suspect when I started wearing them in '03 and nowthey're going OD with the scarf counts like their fitteds. No LV or Gucci or anything for me as I refuse to pay more than $20 for a scarf.
