Redirected spam websites in google/yahoo?

For the past week now, every time I do a search on google or yahoo, and I click on the link, it redirects me to some spam advertising. It's notpornographic, but it leads to like credit report stuff, housing info, and other search engines where it says, "cannot be found." I've triedrunning our virus scanner, along with anti-malware, and nothing comes up.

Computer geniuses: what could be the problem and how do I go about fixing it? It's getting irritating when I want to do a quick search for something.
