I missed out on this thread yesterday, but R.I.P. to a musical legend and person that did alot for the city.  Alot of folks are taking his death really hard here, alot of generations grew up on him or were influenced by him.  
 
Just realized it was around this time last year that we lost Lil Benny too...

I still can't believe this really happened.
Too bad I didn't make it to the show last summer on the mall. Heard it was amazing to say the least though.
