The media is gonna mention that he turned around with the taser in an attempt to taze the cop behind him. However, he clearly missed the cop and once a taser is shot, you can't try a second time unless you change the cartridge out. Therefore, the taser threat is no longer imminent.

Cops are 100% at fault but Americans have become so programmed to call the cops over any inconvenience. How many stories of killings started with trash 911 calls? Black Kid shot in playground with toy gun, Black man killed for "fake" $20 bill, man shot for sleeping in his car drunk. Who gives a ****? Seriously just mind your goddam business. I've seen dudes run from cops constantly. And usually they're let go if the cop can't catch him when it's a minor infraction. Killing a man over being drunk asleep in his car is insanity. If a serial killer is running away then you shoot. But one cop is chasing him with a taser and the other with a gun. If this man was really a major threat, why wouldn't the officer closest to him pull his gun to protect himself as well?
