Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.

most of you prolly dont know who he is, but he is one of the most influential people in the history of heavy metal

he was the one who popularized the devil horns (NOT GENE SIMMONS

)

last night there were rumors that he had passed and twitter was going crazy. his wife shot down the rumors claiming she was at the hospital and was was very much alive

fast forward to this morning and now he is dead. my heart is broken. im going to europe this summer for a series of heavy metal festivals and was on the verge of maybe seeing him perform but he canceled all dates due to his stomach cancer.
