ended up trying on my 9.5 again inside the house and I feel that if I go with a smaller size, the midfoot would be too tight as the tongue is stitched. so I went ahead and ordered the 9.5. thanks for the input fam.

My random yarns arrived and I got a matching pair! 1 out of 3. I was planning on choosing the one I like the most then return the rest but now I'm seriously thinking about keeping all of them

BTW going down half a size is perfect for me

A whole size down was too narrow for me. Half size down was a little long, but good width wise, so I just stuck with it. 8.5 should be good if you're a 9, but as everyone says "everyone's foot is different."

I'm a 9 and Every foot is different. Honestly, I went tts and did the steam fit. Now Fits perfect! 8.5 was adivised by many but It felt small then I'm used to. I know that "fit tip"was advised but I feel tts steam fit is the way to go.
