I was discussing this strategy with another player for a while and wanted to know if anyone ever used it...

Play all three columns at 2 to 1 odds...outside of the ball hitting 0 or 00, you are guaranteed a win. For example, you play $100 on all three rows (1,2,3)

ball hits column 1, you win $200, keep the $100 you played on 1 and then lose $200 on columns 2 and 3=  you take your $100 from that hand instead of losing $100 if you only played one column and lost

so you break even on the hand (which is a win in itself), what would be the next step to tip the odds in your favor?

I know the house always wins, just trying to think of some ways to better my chances

Very confused.  Why would you play a strategy that the best you can do is break even?

Makes no sense --- you just break even at all times.. there's no 'win' in break even - unless you're just stalling for free drinks.

Safer Bets:

One of the "50/50" odds which really are a little lower because of the the 0 00. These are the Black or Red, or Even or odd.

Do what I do.. Pick two of the sections of numbers (or columns) out of three. You have just under a 66% chance of hitting a number. If you put 20 on each section, you walk away +20. If you lose, you lose 40. So it is a higher chance of winning, but an easier way to lose money when luck is down..

Most people I see win, are the ones who walk up to a min table with a 100+ and ask for single chips. They play some numbers and occasionally hit. Its all luck either way...

I usually play black/red and even/odd. Haven't really gotten into playing the numbers too much, but plan to do so next time I play.

that's the only way i ever play.

sometimes i'll play one of the 2 to 1's on each side...meaning i'll play like the "First 12" AND i'll go to the other side and also play like the "third column". this gives you a 52.63% chance of hitting at least one of the numbers. if you put $100 on the "First 12" and $100 on the "third column" and you hit the number 1..that means you won from the "First 12" and you'll get $200 + $100 back from what you originally put down to bet. You'll lose the $100 from the "third column", but you still have $300 now instead of $200 that you started with so you made $100. If you by chance hit BOTH the "First 12" and the "third column", you make $200 off each bet and come away with $600. it's less likely that that'll happen, but if you're just betting on the same 2 to 1's you're guaranteed to only make $100 at most. This way you at least have a chance to triple your money and you still have a 52.63% chance of winning the $100 you would be winning if you bet "First 12" and "Second 12".

You do have a 63.16% chance of winning that $100 if you were to bet "First 12" and "Second 12" though, but keep in mind that you're winning half as fast as you would be losing. Basically, you're winning $100 per spin (if you're betting $100) when you win, but when you lose, you lose all $200.

I realize this might have been highly confusing, but just play online for free somewhere and you'll figure out what I'm talking about.

Teddy, I thought about that strategy, but if you pick 1 & 2 and the ball hits 3, then you lose quicker. However, this is the only way to make money each hand if it hits one of your two columns.

I dont want to stall, was just running this thru my mind trying to discover a way to win more often. I really like playing the single numbers. I might play $10 a hand on the digits, but the 35 to 1 payout beats losing the other $9.

I enjoy this game the most because it's simply a guessing game. The first time I played I had beginners luck but didnt know when to stop and gave it all back. The last time I just played a set of numbers and had fun and came up more.

Also, keep in mind that playing one of the 1 to 1 odds like "Black" or "Red" and "Odd" and "Even" those only gives you 47.37% chance of hitting.

if you have an android phone, there is a free app named roulette royale....been fun since yesterday, I gotta get to a casino though...I think I have more fun blowing my money at the table than at the strip club, at least I win some money here and there

My friends actually play both strategies you guys mentioned.  Then again, I have another friend who has a "powerstack" go for broke strategy.  he will buy in $500 and ask for all nickels.  He will play all 100 chips for every roll.  He will target "his numbers" and protect around them (corners, rows, pairs) and "powerstack" putting anywhere from $10-$50 per bet.  If he hits a number once, he cashes out and walks.  If not, he will just do the same thing with his remaining chips on the next roll (assuming he caught a piece of his protected area).  It is a dumb strategy, but I've seen it pay dividends due to sheer stupid luck.

I dont realy mess with roulette cause the odds are so stacked against you.  The only time I will play is if I want to just milk a $100 and just grab drinks and hang out with my buddies for a bit.

This was a joke right?

Regardless, there's no betting system that will help you win. You need luck, and you need a bankroll to take some hits.
