Joystiq has gotten word that a remake of the Super Nintendo version of the Tecmo Super Bowl is heading to XBLA and PSN. The title will be called Tecmo Bowl Throwback which will feature all new HD visuals and a updated sound track.

If you want some classic Tecmo Super Bowl action you can play using a retro style that faithfully reproduces the Super Nintendo game's visual style and sound.

Wow, thank God they added the option of the original graphics. I hope that they never make a game like the Turtles in Time remake where you can only play a lame 3d remake..
