Anybody got a flipbelt? 8o

Seems pretty cool but looks like it would ride up and irritate the hell out of me. Anybody put some miles in with one?

I remember someone here had an apple watch and was able to get there HR on the nike+ app.

I'm having trouble with it. Online says it's possible, but I have yet to have it show it in Nike running.

I'll start my run in the AW with Nike Running. Then go to AW workout app and start my run and go to the HR screen. I'll run for a bit then switch back to the nike running app. But it still won't show my HR in the Nike Running app.

I think I'm the only one here with the watch 8o. I just start my run with the AW workout app, then on my phone, start the nike app. Maybe you shouldn't start the Nike app on the AW? It doesn't matter which order, I know that. I know when I first got it, I had to enable something, to allow either device to use each other. But one of them let me know about it, so it wasn't something I had trouble with.

I've used the flipbelt for months now, it's amazing, but don't expect to put a lot of stuff into it. I usually just keep my Iphone 6 in it and it's great. If I try to put more stuff in the back or sides, it starts to slide a little bit, but not much.

Thanks! If you start it like that, are you able to go back into the nike running app on the watch to see your pace, etc or you just leave it on the workout app the whole time?

Only thing I carry in my flip belt is a key and my phone as well. How often do you wash yours?

I have honestly never started the Nike app on my watch :lol. I just leave it on the workout app and have it on the heart rate screen, and I'll glance at it every little while while running. if I need to see my pace or anything like that, I'll just take out my phone and glance at it. I'm really good at taking out my phone and putting it back in while running haha, way easier than messing around on the watch while on the go.
I'll try and wash the belt once every two weeks. It actually doesn't smell for me, which is a huge plus.

Ran The Giant Race today. Shaved 15 mintues off my half time from The SF Marathon. Still looking to improve.

Very pleased with their finisher shirt. As good as it looked in pictures they are even better in person. Look forward to wearing it often.

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose is up next!

I'll be there also for RnR San Jose next month.

Yep. Stays in place and is barely noticeable during runs.

Thanks guys...

I've got the apple watch but I don't use Nike+ with it during runs but I may start. Dedicated Strava user but for some reason strava's GPS on my iphone won't work while I'm using the watch for runs. Strava says they are working on a fix but if they don't hurry I'll be giving nike+ a shot.

Saw this one on Etsy... It's my favorite! It'd definitely motivate me to run more races too!

Getting over a cold. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get rid of phlegm before a run?

those medal racks are cool! I think all of em look sick, just a matter of personal preference.

I havn't ran in a while lol. hope to get back into it come September.

I saw a great deal on what I think is the latest Pegasus running shoes. The 32s are the current and latest yea?

my size too but passed. Not feeling the colorway and I really want the new LGs.

It was on the hashwall at Milpitas. If there is an additional off the hash come weekend, will even be a greater deal.. that is if no one picks it up.

I just placed a request to cancel my medal hanger order on Amazon. If it goes through. I'll go the etsy route and have mine customized to my liking...

I've already contacted LiveFreeAndCraft for a custom request for this board

with my fastest mile, 5k, 10k, half, full, maybe two blank spots and a new goal in Volt colored text (if that's possible). I also want the text above the PRs to be something with the foot-wing image like this (with a Swoosh 8o)... and/or "Just Do It" :smokin

Has anybody ran any of the rundisney races? If so, how was the experience? I really want to run the Star Wars Dark Side one but of course with Disney comes high prices.

Ran the Half of a few years ago... It was probably my favorite race! The only downside is you only run 4-5mi in the park... The race shirts and medal are definitely quality, IMO.

Man I want to make running a lifestyle soon. I just need to graduate school already so I can have time to get fit.

I'm running the Orlando Disney Half in January.  Really looking forward to it.  I may do the Star Wars one day.

What's up guys... I recently started running. IM HOOKED.! I can't explain it... Its like, I get out of working a 10 hour shift and it be very easy to say "I'm too tired today" but I wash up. Gear up. And get to it.. Every run I try to go a little further than my last... And it's just a great feeling of personal satisfaction to see my miles distance keep going up.. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm still very new to this and would greatly appreciate any tips.. Here is my progress so far..

Does anyone here have a garmin VivoActive? Pros and cons ? Does it connect easily to Nike+? Or is there another watch I should pick up instead?

I have it.  Once you set it up, your info uploads to Garmin Connect which will then import it to Nike+.  Works flawlessly since the last update (before, it would double count runs sometimes).  Highly recommend it.
