Yup. Wind is the absolute worst. I ran a little over 9 this morning, and the wind came in about 6 and it really screwed up the rest of the run for me.

daaaaaaaaamn 4 hoursWind is the worst obstacle for running to me. Bring rain and a bit of heat, but I hate wind.
I'm ramping up to probably doing a 28-mile run before tapering for my first 50k in 6 weeks, but doing 24 yesterday meant that this morning's miles were incredibly difficult.
I have never had an issue with just putting them on and going for the run. When I did it with the lunarepics2, they felt really tight within the first couple of blocks, but felt better after that.
Thanks gents. I was back and forth up until the last minute and decided to go with my Peg 32's. I'll jump right into both shoes these next two days. The 33s felt great right out of the box for me.
I wish I could run in these type of shoes but my feet need additional support. They look niceCongrats on both, Sir!
Another one right out of the box for a 7miler
I preferred the ride of the FKRs over the Streaks; however, for some reason, my overall pace in the Streaks was one second faster.
So with yesterdays rain, decided to take things indoor with the LE Shields.Morning NT Fam
Both my Peg 33's and LE Shields came in this morning. I'm due for a run at lunch today but wanted to get some opinions.
I usually like to break my shoes in prior to any activity (wear them around for the day). You think it's too much of a rush to slap them on in the next few hours for a 4-5mi run?
Should I just stick with the usual? Real anxious to get them on and go.
Best of luck to you! Where is it? I have one in Connecticut tomorrow.
damn man you are so fast.
I run my first half marathon tomorrow...
