San Andreas is prolly one of the best games I've ever played...

It's too much to do in that game...

That game used to have me in the zone...

I had the green '64 wit the white interior and gold '14's a la Ice Cube, and I would justride around to "Today Was A Good Day"...

Then I kept all my rides clean in tucked in the garage for every crib that came with a garage...

Then you had the gambling, workouts, pool halls, arcades, bmx/car races girlfriends, basketball... dumb#%+ halfcourt shots...

but all that kept you busy aside from your main missions...


The earlier missions were

/

... robbing houses, gang wars, offing the dealers, etc...

@ the RC plane mission...

It took me a while to learn how to fly planes, but I used helicoptors after a while...

The map was a bit OD... I had to start taking flights to get from one section to the other cause wit was takin too long...

Did anyone ever run into Jaws/ Bigfoot/ ghost/ etc in the game??

My dudes and I were on a hunt for bigfoot. Never found him, or was that just a rumor?

However, I did encountered dolphins. There's a code breaker disc that you can get for $5, all the cheats you need.. literally.

Jetpack: L1 L2 R1 R2 Up Down Left Right (X2).

CJ is the best character GTA had period. I spent days on the high-stakes poker machine, and the fact you could call your crew to roll wid you was nuts.

Vice City is the best title with Tommy involved, It was the first with bikes and you could buy property all over the map.

GTA is overrated as a whole. Appreciated for story but other than that how many times are you going to do the same thing over and over.

, i don't understand this complaint.

games like "Force Unleased" are repetitive.

same exact enemies, same exact "moves" same "background", etc.

GTA is a wide open game...you don't even HAVE to do missions...

how is it repetitive?

because you have missions like "kill this guy and his friends"

usually there is some sort of variation, i.e.

Kill him before X o clock

Make the choice to kill him or not, or him or someone else...

Find a suspect with a police computer first

chase down a train that dude is riding on

trap a police escort in a tunnel with a semi truck

don't kill him until he meets up with his crew

stuff his body in the trunk and drive across town, dont wreck or the trunk will open...

kidnap a chick, after calling her and saying you wanted to buy her car...then she fights over the wheel with you, sending your car out of control...(thats SO cliche....

)

and even still, you have a variety of weapons and literally an INFINITE amount of ways to actually "complete" the mission...

i'm sorry, GTA IV can get criticized for ALOT of things, but being repetitive isn't one of them...

Why does IV get so much hate on this forum? I hear nothing but negative comments about it. I agree that the perfect 10 grades it got on sites like ign.com andgamespot.com are too high, but still, they're not way too high. The game is in 9.5 range. You gotta respect the sheer magnitude of the production for thisgame. I swear, the complete dialogue of this game must be like 50 movie dialogues. How can you hate on this game? I don't even think some of you have satback and tried to enjoy it. How can you NOT appreciate the details of the city design when you consider how big it is? You don't even have to do themissions. Just walk around the town and the pedestrians you meet are always good for a couple of laughs. It sucks that they took away a lot of the freedom youhad in the gameplay of San Andreas, but it's still an amazing game. Easily the best in the series after San Andreas for me. BTW, the Lost and the Damned isa great download.

Thats why when u ask someone why they didnt like the game they say that it was repetitve, which is just stupid because EVERY GTA game was repetitive.

To actually say that Vice City and GTA3 were better than GTA4 is asinine. San Andreas was good though but thats only because it was the first GTA game i playedfrom beginning to end.

IV-which im currently playing is kinda straight, its on the real side and i think thats what lotta ppl dont like bout this game, i like it but not as good asSA.

By doing that we missed out on the little details just to get that "New York Minute" achievement.

san andreas is my favorite of the gta series i never really played vc that much:. i know i really like sa cuz im from the west and that story line is all toofamiliar:. i wish they would use a hispanic as the main character already the can do some gangster s**t in chicago like of the lk's i think that would becool:.
