I'm lookin' to move down south in the next couple months....I want something nice and new, probably a townhome or condo. I see that there's somenew ones at the Warner Center area....some place called The Montecito. How is this area? It's right next to the Westfield malls out there....how's thetraffic, crowd, etc..?

It's ok if you don't mind sweltering heat. All my friends that live there say that they've seen a plenty of porn chicks there though. Traffic inthe Valley is terrible most of the time as well.

Warner Center is a good area, a lot of new stuff is sprouting up over there. But the main drawback to living there is your right by the 101 meaning bad trafficall the time

What other areas do you suggest? I know traffic is bad in the Valley...but is it THAT much worse by the Warner Center area to the point that it's not worthliving there? I mean, if I gotta face traffic ANYWHERE in the valley, how much worse can it be in that area because it's by 101?

The new places they're putting up with the Warner Center are pretty nice from the outside, I haven't been on the inside to check them out yet but theylook cool. Remember living in Warner Center your gonna pay 500 more a month then someone living 10 minutes away in Reseda/Canoga Park. Theres other niceneighborhoods to live in besides Woodland Hills/Warner Center but besides Calabasas they are some of the nicest areas in the west valley. And the traffic onthe ventura side gets bad at night. And yeah just so you know, Woodland Hills/Warner Center is tied for the hottest spot in the valley along with Northridge,in the summer it can get up to 110 degrees outside.

Yeah I always heard Sherman Oaks is the spot to be....can anyone tell me what's so special about that place? How is it in comparison to Woodland Hills?

i live in sherman oaks. I like it more than that woodland hills area cuz its kind of in between everything. Everyones right about traffic being bad everywherein the valley, but say you wanna go from woodland hills to LA and sherman oaks to LA youll be traveling way shorter from sherman oaks. its a dope area, itssafe, plenty of nice places to eat and its just pretty chill overall.

Dont go PACOIMA OR PANORAMA CITY.......Encino is cool or Sherman Oaks................Remember the SFV is the PORN Capital of the World so a lot of them liveout here in Sherman Oaks and Encino good neighborhoods...........True Story I dated one for 4 months while I was attending CSUN, we had a class together....IHOlla at her and we started going out. I didnt know until my homie told me what she was doing....It made it more interesting but after 4 months I thought thatwas enough....It was great though.............lol

Always use rubbers on your Willy fellas.

The Valley Life is Great

Dude.
If you can afford it, Sherman Oaks, Burbank, Canoga Park, Encino, Tarzana, and Stevenson Ranch/Valencia are some good spots to live.

Really? I grew up in Pacoima, also glad I moved.

Hearing the police sirens, and neighbors arguing all the time, put me to sleep.

I grew up in Panorama City, my grandma lived in Pacoima. I never really thought it was that bad until I moved to Santa Clarita and boy was I awakened

How about Glendale? Is that considered part of the valley? I don't think it is, but how's that place?

and to be back on topic i dont really like glendale, it seems a bit too busy for me. Canoga Park, Woodland Hills, Santa Clarita, and Northridge are good placesto check out

not entirely true, it's only about 20 minutes from L.A. and 15 minutes to anywhere in the valley. But if you want to stay in the SFV I would sayNorthridge, I spent my entire summer in Northridge so I grew to love the place

Yeah man I lived in Pacoima for a while, but it was a gated community to keep the vatos out.

Going from south to north...Glendale, Burbank, Northridge, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, and Encino are good. Reseda, Van Nuys, Canoga Park, etc. has its bad and OK parts. You gotta remember though if you drive for 5 mins, you're going to enter a different city in the San Fernando Valley, lol.

Santa Clarita is not the 818 anymore, but the 661. And going to Simi Valley is 805. I think Woodland Hills is the furthest San Fernando Valley is.

Nah man, it's WAY longer than that. 2 of my friends have shops in Santa Clarita..off of McBean, even when I lived in Pacoima, it's a hell of adrive. From my house in Burbank, it takes probably 25-30 mins to get up there with no traffic. To put it in perspective..it takes me 20-25 mins each day toget to CSUN on a daily basis. And I don't even live that deep in Burbank, it's border line Sun Valley.

And all the pron stars hang out at the Starbucks on Topanga in Woodland Hills, lol.
