Chicago has been a house of horrors lately for the Mariners, hopefully they can reverse the curse.

Ackley looks like he might be figuring it out (at least for a week). LoMo coming through again. Smoak might be out of job for a while.

Well...This is the year for the AL West I feel. No one is really coming close to competing with the M's rotation except the A's. By the end of the year though, I wouldn't be surprised if the Mariners have the best rotation in all of baseball once things settle. Add that to the best bullpen and best defense and I don't think a WS run is so crazy.

I'd still feel way better by getting another bat. Tighten up that depth and getting rid of some of the waste (Smoak and Ackley).

Not to mention the Mariners have been shopping around their relief pitching surplus. Could be a lot of buyers as they look to fortify

Strong play by Oakland. At least one of those guys may have ended up a Mariner, but Oakland made sure they kept that gap between them and Seattle.
