Calm down man
I gotta look at some more of Kuma's stuff but these zone numbers do indicate a downtrend in overall production. he is getting up there in age, so it just may be your typical decrease in stuff/ability.

from his MLB debut to today:
zone%
50.6%
51.4%
47.4%
41.2%
zone contact%
89.6%
88.3%
90.3%
91.7%
outside of the zone contact%
61.2%
62.1%
68.4%
72.5%
left on base%
81.9%
81.9%
74.1%
65.2%
for reference, LOB% of 80 or above is great, 75 is above average, 65 or worse is pretty lousy.
obviously this year's numbers is a very limited sample size, but it's worth following to see if he bucks the trend and gets back on track, or this is who he is now.
I will keep saying it, the starting pitching has been abysmal to start the season. Maybe last year gassed these pitchers out but none of them look great, save for an injury to Felix.
Kuma
Rickie Weeks with what might be the worst throw home in baseball history, but let's be real Tai is putting these fastballs right down the pike
You never watch Eric Byrnes play?
You never watch Eric Byrnes play?
Oh man, how'd that softball retirement work out for him?
Could be worse, could have Ibanez or Denorfia out there
