Nintendo of America owned the M’s from 92-2016, legendary Nintendo President Yamauchi saved the team from relocation, I heard he never even attended a M’s game in person when he owned them and bought them as a favor to the community for welcoming Nintendo’s US HQ with open arms.

Now you got this goof Mathers, sitting in the comfort of his home, speaking out of privilege to what likely is a privileged rotary club (Bellevue) about how he’s upset he has to pay a Japanese interpreter. I’m sorry M’s fans, y’all deserve better. Obviously growing up in Seattle I have a ton of friends/colleagues that are M’s fans and I just feel terrible about the string of bad team presidents and clown GM’s prior to Jerry. Y’all really deserve better.

Just read the transcript again and noticed how Mathers spoke glowingly about Mitch Haniger, but only dedicated a sentence more to Kyle Lewis than he did Ty France, despite Lewis being a damn highlight machine and the AL ROY

Noticed the same about him speaking more about Evan White and his Gold Glove, yet barely mentions JP Crawford. I’m not trying to make this a race thing but it pisses me off. The Players Alliance folks talk often about how they’re told they have to be so much better or fear getting replaced, **** like this is what’s wrong with MLB.

M’s look worst every day the Mather remains Team President after tomorrow. Rob Manfred has shown tons of incompetence but I’m sure he called Stanton today.

The fact that Mather was allowed to get in front of this by issuing a statement before the M's organization isn't a good sign.

It’s noon and this clown Mather is still employed by the Mariners. He’s Stanton’s boy, that’s the only explanation as to why he wasn’t axed last night. They’re going to let him resign and actually probably have to talk him into it, that’s how deep that man’s privilege is.

I hope the MLB steps in too and does something about this service time bs.

Inslee just announced that outdoor sporting venues can allow up to 25% as of 3/22. That means up to 9,000 for T-Mobile Park. I'm in there next month when the Dodgers are up, it's amazing to see light at the end of the tunnel. So much more important things in the world and folks still struggling but what a day for Washington. Restaurants, gyms, and theaters can open up to 50% too.

Definitely Get away day games on Wednesday's in the dog days...probably less.

I don't know enough about other ballparks, but it's cool how Safeco is always changing things up and has new things it seems like every couple of seasons.
