Honestly, Brash’s control has always been the thing that caused teams to be hesitant. Stuff is amazing but if he can’t locate with the fast ball consistently then it is what it is..Kirby was in talks for that 5th spot since earlier this season too, but I think they wanted to give Brash benefit of doubt and hoped he’d be passable until Kirby was ready.
