True, but Paxton and some bullpen arms perhaps?
Heck nooo. Paxton needs to remain a Mariner. Way too much upside there. Especially for someone that has already produced at the MLB level.

Here's my mindset as a neutral, Heyward had a huge projected ceiling but at 25 he hasn't scratched the surface offensively. Plus he comes with a pricey extension. If you want a plus glove, Lagares can be had much cheaper from the Mets.Heck nooo. Paxton needs to remain a Mariner. Way too much upside there. Wow, I'm torn. J. Up is one of my favorite players in the game, but you're risking Tai's high ceiling. I think ATL would jump at the swap, not sure about including "Oso Blanco" too.Don't know if this was posted, but these potential scenarios are entertaining:

Surely if you guys were forced, it's parting with Paxton before Walker.Trading Pax or Tai... I dunno, man...

Wow, on the strength of Pax's April and August starts?i would disagree

Tai is 4 years younger and more athletic. Plus FB with above-average curve. Walker's changeup is better than Paxton's too.Taijuan has struggled like crazy to locate any of his pitches
Paxton has a + fastball and is also left handed
End of the day you can not go wrong with either, both will be Aces in a few seasons. As long as they stay healthy

Command comes with age, maturity, and pitching IQ. Wheeler had the same if not larger problem. Archie Bradley is struggling with control now as well, not uncommon for 22-year-old future aces. But he struggles to locate anything
