One guy saying season ending, one guy saying no surgery needed, the other claiming 6 weeks...**** all dat. Just give me official word when it comes.

Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner is entering the final year of the three-year contract he signed with Seattle in 2011 after four years in the Canadian Football League.
Despite blossoming into a Pro Bowl selection in his first season back in the NFL, Browner has been stuck with the league-minimum contract he originally signed with the Seahawks two seasons ago.
As training camp opened for Seattle on Thursday, Browner was given a bump in pay by the Seahawks for the final year of his contract. Terms of the increase were not disclosed. The deal was only noted as an adjustment/pay raise by a team spokesperson.
Browner lost $109,411 in base salary in 2012 due to a four-game suspension for a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy and was also fined $7,875 for a personal four against Greg Jennings of the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.
The pay raise for Browner could act as a pseudo-reimbursement for some of the lost pay from last season and as a reward for out playing the value of the contract he originally signed with the team. Browner was scheduled to make $555,000 in base salary this season.
JB need to release some of these!!!!
Seattle claimed former Cardinals outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield off waivers Saturday, according to a tweet from agent Blake Baratz.
Schofield started nine games and had four sacks last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury during a collision with teammate Darnell Dockett while the two were chasing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Cardinals released Schofield after signing veteran pass-rusher John Abraham.
The Seahawks could use outside rush help while Chris Clemons recovers from knee surgery and Bruce Irvin serves a four-game suspension to open the season. There are no guarantees Schofield will fill such a role for Seattle. He would have to earn a spot on the 53-man roster to make that happen. But in Schofield, the Seahawks get a 26-year-old player with starting experience. Schofield is 6-foot-3 and 242 pounds, dimensions similar to those for players who have filled the "Leo" defensive end role for the Seahawks.
The Cardinals made Schofield a fourth-round pick in 2010, months after Schofield suffered a torn ACL during Senior Bowl practices. Schofield played 10 games as a rookie and all 16 during his second season, collecting 6.5 sacks in a situational role. He started each of the nine games he played last season before suffering a broken ankle against the Packers. The Cardinals have a new defensive staff without strong ties to Schofield.
Schofield's cousin Bobby Engram was a Seahawks mainstay at receiver during the Mike Holmgren era.
And I fully expect Golden to have the best year out of all of our WRs.
Yeah, he's in a contract year and I doubt he wants to be the odd man out regarding these extensions happening.
The signing signing of Percy seemed to light a fire under him as well
"I made up my mind after the playoff game against the Falcons that I wasn't going anywhere," Howard said. "I've got to play next year. I put that in my mind. And everyday I worked out, I thought about not playing, and not being active. So I was like, 'I'm going to be active this year.'"
The results have been good so far for Howard. He put on 15 pounds of muscle, and at 6-foot-3 is up to 305 pounds. And he's learning a new position, as defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has Howard backing up Red Bryant at strong-side defensive end, along with competing for the starting defensive tackle job left open by the departure of Alan Branch in free agency.
"I've been watching Big Red's film everyday, and I'm trying to play like him," Howard said. "He's physical at the point of the attack, and I'm just trying to add that to my game. I've become more of student of the game."
"That's a spot we felt that he could compete at," Seattle defensive line coach Travis Jones said about Howard playing defensive end. "He's got a really strong upper body, and really strong hands. He understands how to strike and knock people back. He's made some good progress. I'm really pleased with the way he's started with the position."
