I honestly don't see what other people see in Lewis. He isn't a run producer, he will never hit for average since he strikes out so much,and he is a terrible outfielder. Why it took 16 games for Schierholtz to get a start over Lewis is beyond me.

To be honest, i think Lewis can be a good player, he is still pretty raw talent right now.

He is raw, and I do think he can be a solid player, but he's going to be 29 years old this year. I guess my question is, what makes Lewis heads andshoulders above Schierholtz? Lewis should be the starting left fielder, but is he so irreplaceable in the lineup that Schierholtz can't start more thanonce every 16 games? I don't think so.

I apologize. I know you are upset over yesterdays game. Your pitching is not trash, its completely average. But you are going to need your offense to make upfor that....which so far hasnt been a problem. Lets see if it will catch up at some point.
