Sanchez and LaRoche not in the Pirates lineup tonight.

SF bound?

As long as its not for any of our top prospects, which would mean we would most likely not getting them.
Bumgarner and Alderson shouldn't be considered, Posey shouldn't either.Villilona?
JSanchez, Freddy Lewis and a journeyman Minor Leaguer for Sanchez and laroche?
It's just speculation on my part, so Sanchez and LaRoche out of the lineup means absolutely nothing so far. Sabean said none of our topprospects would be traded, but out of our "Big Four" (Bumgarner, Posey, Alderson, and Villalona), Alderson is the most expendable to me and would notmind trading him if we got a good return (Matt Holliday deal, please?).

Also keep an eye on Thomas Neal who has been tearing San Jose up. Dude has been a beast.

I'd take Amy G as well.

Freddy Sanchez has been out since July 2nd with a lower back strain. Just seems like a long time to sit out if it really is a fake injury.

I'm actually switching between Kinsler and Lind for the AL all-star spot. I figure it should come down to them two in the AL and I don't want to chooseso I'll vote for both evenly. I'll let the others decide on who to send for the AL team.

^He's prolly busy trying to figure out if Brian Giles will take 2yrs/$20 mil next offseason.

I dont really care about the AL being that they always win. But why Dustin Pedroia is starting is beoynd my imagination.

seems like I'm the only one voting for Chone Figgins in the AL. I have no idea how these AL guys are doing compared to each other, I like Chone'sgame.. probably doesnt deserve to get in but he gets my vote

im voting for Lind in the A.L. He's helping my fantasy team. We should go to other NTers who are fans of an A.L selection and make a deal with them to votefor pablo and we vote for their player o_0

.

Sucks that I haven't seen a Texas Rangers thread or a Toronto Blue Jays thread on here, because then it would have been easy to tell them.
Sabean: Giants Still Looking For Bats
By Ben Nicholson-Smith [July 7, 2009 at 10:43am CST]

Giants GM Brian Sabean told Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News that there are no impact bats available for a reasonable cost. As much as he would like a true middle-of-the-order hitter, Sabean won't deal top prospects like Madison Bumgarner to acquire one.
Sabean says he's not interested in free agents-to-be, which rules out Nick Johnson, Aubrey Huff and Adam LaRoche. Adam Dunn and Garrett Atkins are middle-of-the-order bats who aren't about to hit free agency, but Sabean doesn't want to surrender big prospects to acquire such a hitter.
Andrew Baggarly of the Mercury News points out that Randy Johnson's injury makes Jonathan Sanchez a little less expendable in any possible deals, at least for now.

I'm not gonna try to get in Sabean's head, but I'd rather just see what Ishikawa can do over the rest of the season. I wouldn't mind addingLaRoche though. He walks a lot more than Ishikawa and his production is going to be more predictable (reliable) over the rest of the season.

I have two tickets to tonight's game but I can't make it. $75 tickets that I'll let go of for both for $75. If anyone is interested PM me.

I went to see my tally and it said I voted 92 times. Not bad, but it could be better. I better vote some more.

I better put in more work.

Yeah I just vote while watching the games or when I'm watching tv, videos on my computer, etc. Once you get started you get in a rhythm.

You can pound out 100 votes in like 20 minutes.

Can you imagine how many times he would have voted if somehow it was Lincecum that needed fan vote to get in?
