Shaq Has Made Inside The NBA Unwatchable.

Shaq still funny on this show. Loving the dynamic between all 4 guys now. Seems like he's loosened Ernie up a bit. Plus since he says a lot of dumb things he's the butt everyone's jokes.
He's settled in after the all-star break quite well. It's funny how noticed whether he grew on ppl or not yall stopped complaining. At this point it just seems yall are sour about CWebb not getting the job as if there was an opening for a 4th guy until Shaq already had the job. CWebb is much better calling games imo.

Ernie limp wrist knocking Shaq over the head with a bottle will forever be a classic Inside the NBA moment.

I'm sure Barkley never struck anyone as a basketball guy until he first started either (and from what we've seen from his CBB analysis he might not be still

)... just a guy with a big personality who could razz a few people every now and then.
Yea but Barkley actually offerred interesting opinons on things throughout his career like saying athletes shouldn't be role models.  When has Shaq ever done anything that was remotely interesting in the slightest? #!++, everything he has tried outside of basketball he has been horrible at, rapping, acting, being a cop, stealing Steve Nash's TV show and now being an analyst.
Shaq has always been a "me-first," self-centered %%%#%$%.  It's funny how people think of Bron as being like that when Shaq was a thousand times worst.  He's lucky he didn't come into his prime in the 24/7 twitter, media world cause he would have gotten eaten alive for a lot of the #!++ he did.

Webber's really good in studio but is an outstanding commentator

It's just sad that he's TNT's C-team. In later rounds they'll probably stick with Reggie and Steve Kerr as the color guys unfortunately

Shaq doesn't do much other than make it known how little he knows about the actual league... Shaqtin a Fool is a good segment but it's clear the producers just hunt for clips and tell him what to say. At least with Kenny's Pictures, it seems plausible that Kenny's actually choosing the clips.

Shaq is horrible. Nobody can say one thing without him saying "no im the best at..."

Y'all crazy. At the beginning of the season, he seemed tensed and pressed. He's loosen up though, and has added a nice dynamic to the show. He fits now, and the last few Inside The NBA's have been straight money

C'mon son. He does not choose those clips or pics. Son be surprised at the extra funny things the guys in the back add to them.

On another note, ppl need to turn how many times Shaq grabs Ernie's arm when making a joke or laughing in to a drinking game

Please dont limit cwebb to just inside ...

CWebb is broadcast team #1 analyst material

What input?

I don't even watch Inside anymore. The whole feel of the show changed. Not nearly as funny as it used to be.

Been saying this from day 1, and even though he has gotten slightly better, I just don't see it working out full term.

Just throw him on NBATV somewhere.

In the Memphis - LA thread, people were saying how bad Webber's commentary was
ohwell.gif
.  I liked his commentary.
Can TNT get rid of Shaq next season or do they have to keep him on because of his contract?  Someone should just light his contract on fire.

He's been horrible all season so this is nothing new. Get him out ASAP.

I like CWebb over Shaq with Inside the NBA more as well... The only thing is he's good at calling games too.

They should just have Shaq fill in when CWebb wouldn't be in the studio or something.

this is the sad part right here, i pretty much stopped watching during the season but now that its playoff time i plan on watching it all

its terrible because the dynamic has been ruined, kenny and charles always crack jokes about the topic and each other and rarely talk themselves up which they would do for each other along with EJ, it all flows, even if there is an emphasis on charles

shaqs just tries to tie himself his accomplishments into the topic

I was watching last night after the Grizz/Clips game and Chuck was going through his old highlights along with highlights of Shaq about playing in the post.

The moment Chuck started talking about a Shaq highlight, Shaq starts trying to do post color commentary about how good it was/making new nicknames ON TOP on Chuck's commentary. So all  you hear is 2 guys trying to be heard at the same time, thus not getting the point of the commentary. Come on Shaq, that was Chuck's time to speak not yours

THIS

Shaq is that annoying 'one up' dude that we ALL have in our circle.

If some of you think he's justified in all his constant attempts to have the biggest fish story, then congratulations: you're probably the annoying 'one up' dude in your circle.
laugh.gif

Constantly mentioning his 5 degrees, his little cop experience, his era of dominating the NBA, all that crap, man. And he can NEVER let a point go, w/ his "I'm the real Superman. You shouldn't have said that, Kenny."

Props to you guys who are showing C Webb love, I too agree that he is the best analyst right now. I am Lakers die hard fan and yes Shaq is awful on tv lol.

When they were joking on Mike Miller crying at the end of his last game...
Kenny & Charles : "Don't worry Mike...we've all been there."

Shaq: " I haven't."

Charles: "That's cuz you played three years after you shoulda retired..."

Shaq: " And I still accomplished more than you did in your whole career, 15 years before that!"
