Whoaaa i wouldn't go that far.... ATL might be a city consumed by trash rappers but there's talent especially in the undergound... althoughthey not from ATL Cunnilynguists is one of the best underground duos not just in the south but nationwide. Killer Mike is somewhat mainstream but still can beviewed as an underground artist and he definitely hot on the mic, Stat Quo. Shawty Lo is trash but his music is meant for a certain audience... ain't meantto be liked by audiences that like lyrics but i just hate how artists of his caliber ruin the game because the rappers who wanna be themselves can't make areal record because it won't get spins or attention so therefore they make club music... get a hit and thats the last time you'll hear from them. Alotof sh.. that ATL ain't meant to be mainstream but because ATL is basically the NYC in the south in terms of exposure everything they put out will hitnationwide audiences, Shawty Lo is essentially a rapper that puts out music for the clubs in ATL like Primetime, Crucial, Central Station and etc but just sohappens it gets hot in other places.
