I am pretty proud of these... I believe they are Footaction Exclusive AF1 Black/3m Mid. I have never seen anyone else rockin' them at all. Now the part that will make you throw up... I got these at an outlet for $49.99. Not bad, huh?

While they might not be my favorites, but they are certainly the rarest things I've ever owned, and have a neat story behind them.

Background:

Nike made these for Shareef Abdur-Rahim to wear in the 2001 NBA All-Star Game. They were made 2-3 months ahead of time, in anticipation that he would make the team.

Problem: he didn't make the team.

At the most, only 2 pairs were made. If only 1 or 2 pairs exist, the only thing rarer is something that doesn't even exist.

For personal reasons this was my very favourite ever group pic. DS OG black Footscapes = hard to find at the time.

I was even selling Footscapes to Scones for ludicrously low prices at the time, i was the damn Footscape master!!!

These however are probably the rarest shoe i have ever owned. yes retro I know...

Well they aren't rare but they are the most ill joints I own and my favorite sneaker ever.

lol @ the fulton reference....

but i agree with rev on this one sometimes the plastic wrap can damage the sneaker. your best bet to keep them from yellowing is to throw like 4 packets of silica gel in the box and plastic wrap the outside of the box.

air force 1 - "i believe" - US9.5

but while none of the below are particularly rare, i do enjoy having them in my "rotation" to wear:

saucony jazz t - oak/dark brown - US10

air woven - black/metallic silver-metallic graphite - US9

air trainer 3 sc - viotech/dandelion-viola-grey slate - US10

ace 83 - paul brown/net - US10

rev -- are those copper weapons from back in the day or are they a very recent (but japanese) release? not that it should detract from the intrinsic value, a couple of shops in tokyo were marking them down recently...
