The whole Shula thing aside, there should be an asterisk next to it if they go undefeated. THEY CHEATED! I still don't understand how it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to people. The penalty they got from the NFL was

Considering the "cheating" was caught in the first game, it would make more sense to put an * to past super bowls, not this year. Stop being bitter 72 Dolphins and Shula, I hope a team finishes undefeated just to shut them up

They should have forfeited at least one game this season. One of the games where they were fined for taping, obviously.

umm...maybe it's just me but '72 Dolphins are mad salty, not just Shula but entire squad. Let alone them celebrating every year when an undefeated team loses.

teams that don;t cheat finish sub-500.....everybody cheats. whether it be steroids, videotaping, pumping in crowd noise, tailoring the home field, stealing signals......some are just better than others..... Pats are 9-0 better than others....

Shula NEVEr said that the Pats deserve an asterick. He said the spygate thing is like an asterick, because it diminishes this great season. Its always in the back of your mind when you think of the Patriots. He said the unprecedented fine and removal of draft pick is proof.
