Smart to ball in a pair of og 19s

This may be the wrong thread, but in you're opinion, would it be smart to ball in a pair of og Jordan 19s? Would the shoe deteriorate or would I be okay because I want to buy some strictly for hooping and it's between that and some Derrick Rose 4's

Yea the 19's are comfy as hell, I still have my "East" pair with that navy patent leather. i ball in door with them all the time, you'll be fine.

It depends on the environment. I have a pair of nike frees from 09 and the soles hardened.
