So I finally watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show Vol. Im a black guy.

I remember watching Seven Samurai and Metropolis back in film class. Man that was tough, even though they are known to be one of the great movies of this world.

I have never seen Citizen Kane either.

What? Seven Samurai was :smokin. Dope *** movie.

Never seen Citizen Kane either, need to check it out.
Citizen Kane caught me off guard. It is just as good as everyone says, at least imo. I didn't think it'd live up to the hype, that it'd be dated, wouldn't be interesting after knowing the ending... but it was. Yall need to jump on that film asap.

^^^^Nice. I'll definitely check it out now. I don't want that movie to do what it did for Goodfellas. I saw that way late in life and just don't like the movie. I thought Goodfellas and Casino was better but a lot will argue with me on that.

Casablanca is top 5 films imho

Saw it for the first time like 2 years ago.

Feels like youre in that mf lol

Seven Samurai is one of the most influential movies ever. But as a samurai movie, I feel it's kinda tame. It doesn't have that Japanese feel to it. If you want to see a great samurai movie, check out Harakiri:

Casino is GOD level. Pesci was fantastic, absolutely fantastic.

If yall getting on old movies :pimp: Seeing the classics mentioned.

I remember too many of my friends just had an aversion to black and white films.

I literally got it in with all those Bogart films :smokin

Seen this movie awhile back with one of my exes cause she loved this movie...its ok. But weird af lol

This. Epic story. Epic visuals. Epic score. GOAT acting. This movie could be released today and still win oscars and be best picture

Haven't seen one movie listed in this thread and don't give a damn.

I didn't even know rhps was a movie, thought it was some kind of traveling play or something like that. Just Googled some images and doubt if I'll ever watch.

My 8th grade social studies teacher said citizen Kane is the best movie ever, this was in 97.

I definitely want to see casino. I just never have an opportunity to see these films.

I can't do musicals. Don't like to see choreographed singing/dancing because because it ruins the illusion that I'm watching a movie.

If I wanted to see a musical...I'd go to a real life play.

Edit: Casino and Goodfellas are a MUST WATCH. straight up modern classics.

Yall parents let yall watch this as a child? A little child??

I always thought my parents were pretty liberal, but damn...

My dad let me lose my rocky virginity at like 15 or 16. He's big into the arts and culture so he exposed me to it young. I had to stand in front of the stage and do all that goofy stuff. We threw the rice and the paper and all of that during the movie. It was dope.

RHPS is definitely one of those you need to see in a theater with a group of people, people dressing up,acting out the scenes, quoting the entire movie, and doing the Time Warp....They do midnight shows all the time around here..

Citizen Kane is just a good movie imo. There's great scenes and Orsen is amazing in it, but the general overall opinion of It being the best movie of all time is a reach. Maybe the reputation of it tainted my view, but I just feel like I've been more capitvated.

Rear Window > Citizen Kane, Casablanca or Seven Samurai IMO - it's the greatest of the really old movies, like pre-1960.

But 1970s: GOAT decade for movies.

RHPS is one of my all time favorites. I've been to the Halloween midnight shows, stuck out because I didn't dress up. I've seen the play version and have the soundtrack on my phone.
