Bruhs I was raised in the Bronx, east Tremont and crotona ave moms still around the neighborhood....I have every right to say, THE BRONX IS TRASH....my trash, but trash regardless.

I'm saying man, I grew up in that ***hole and so did my wife and all my friends....I left the Bronx 8 years ago and don't miss it one bit, love westchester.

Thing with the Bronx is that is too far from the island for yuppies to take interest in it, so they will try to gentrify it, but it won't get far, for sure is not reaching too far inland...maybe the south southhh BX which they are renaming to the piano district....but coming inland they got something coming to them thinking they gonna clean it up....the Bronx is too damb rooted...this ain't Brooklyn or Queens.....yuppies don't think BX when they think of NY and to be honest some of these hoods they wouldn't make it and the nicer parts are all old white money, they not letting new blood in changing up their hood...eastchester rd the Irish got that on lock....Throggs Neck is old Italian mobster money....still I rather live in Yonkers than any of those "nice" neighborhoods.

Tbh vancortlandt and up by Mt Saint Vincent college claim Riverdale before they claim the Bronx....any Bronx native knows this...lol

Never been but just wondering... Is the Bronx like your average dusty grimey hood city that's 10 years behind on the times and you might get stabbed for your Kia? Like just garbage piled everywhere because no rich people go there so they don't bother cleaning it up?

Also can you buy crack pipes at the gas station next to the hookah and Air Force ones?

Honestly I see more garbage on the street in Manhattan than I do in the Bronx.

Same goes for all the outer boroughs. See less garbage on their streets than Manhattan's.

Except for SI which IS garbage.
