I really like the movie a lot. I love how they portay the "hapmton crowd"/ yuppies in the movie.

I always thought the movie was a satire of the hollow materialism and superficiality of certain aspects of American culture and Patrick Bateman is the ultimate personification of it all. However, I haven't read the book so I might be off.

Didn't see the big deal about this movie either. But Christian Bale played the **** out that role though
