They will tell you what to delete and that should at least help a little bit. I did this and cleared out something like 85 infections. I had no idea so muchcrap was on my computer.

I also recommend malwarebytes. Since I restored my computer a few months back I've had Avast, Clamwin, Comodo firewall, recently installed Spywareblaster,and use to have Spybot S&D. I also clean all of my temporary files and whatever with ATF-Cleaner. Malwarebytes still found and removed one infection on mycomputer called something like startmenu.hijack and I know that's not good...
