Hey guys, sorry this is off topic but how do you guys add pics to your post? Is there a way for me to add pics to my post directly from my iPhone 5?

Uploading to photobucket then copy/paste IMG or direct link is too much work. I can start contributing restaurant/food pics when I get this working.

^ there used to be one in Torrance but it changed owners and now it's called something else. Couldn't get myself to pay the $25/plate

If you're ever in Alhambra, go to Savoy.

Best Hai Nan chicken rice I've had. At least here in California.

:wow: Must check this out. Wifey and I simply ADORE Hainan chicken. it's fried right?

speaking of which, any of you guys know if the NoodleWorld in Downey has opened up yet?

M&M Donuts. :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Went after the Lil B concert, waited over an hour but well worth it.

You should try The Donut Man at Glendora, way better than M&M donuts

I've found several places in the OC area other than M&M's that have blueberry donuts. No way in hell I'm waiting an hour for those donuts ever again. Once you've had them a few times, it loses it's appeal. I'll have one randomly right by this place by work, but I laugh at those folks now that hit up M&M at 9pm and wait for an hour.

^ hainan chicken isn't fried...unless you're thinking of something else?

but that savoy place IS the spot in sgv for it, if you like it. but that place sometimes has long lines.

Here's a pic for reference. Savoy is pretty good and its fairly cheap too I think it's like $7 a plate or something like that.

But I honestly thought the duck pizza was better than the chicken in my opinion.

The place gets really packed i'd suggest to go there around lunch. The inside can probably fit like maybe 30 people max and its pretty cramped and maybe another 30 at the outside tables. Definitely worth a try.

Anyone who likes Ramen this place is the TRUTH.

Daikokuya always a line though. Usually at least a 30-40 min wait but it's damn worth it.

No way man~ everyone knows their ramen isn't the best. If you want good ramen you have to check out Hakata Ramen Shinsengumi either in Little Tokyo or Gardena.

But I do love Daikokuya's sides though like their gyoza and pork bowl. Hataka's sides are good too but something about Daikokuya's pork bowl that makes me want to go back.

If you want good overall experience, I recommend Daikokuya. If you want just the ramen, you should go to Hataka.

P.S. There's a long line for both.

If anyone was going to consider on brazillian bbq I would suggest going to M Grill in LA. I've gone to all of them Fogo De Chao, Libra, Greenfield Churrascaria, Rei Da Gado (San Diego) and nothing beats M Grill. I have a 25% discount from them this month if anyone wanted to give it a try.

Repped! I've always wanted to check this place out. Apparently it's owned by a Korean guy born and raised from Brazil (?).

I'm familiar with Hainan Chicken...

but i prefer Hainan Fried Chicken, which can be found at NoodleWorld. =)

anything similar to that at Savoy, by any chance?
sorry dude.  No such thing as a fried hainan chicken.  Nothing here compares to the ones they serve in Singapore or HK.

Tried Savoy and it's all hype compared to the real hainanese chicken.

If any of you are craving for legit tempura.  Hit up HANNOSUKE.  Really Really great tempura bowl

I've been to M Grill when it first opened and it wasn't great.

I went back recently, and they stepped it up. One of my favorite spots in LA now.

Awesome. I didn't get to go last week but I'm going for sure this Saturday. $48/person for dinner is expensive though (Vegas Status+). I'm only going because JJC hooked it up with the 25% coupon.

Let's see if it's worth the money.
