There is more to life than money.  Money does not equal intelligence.  Is Lebron James smarter than everyone else also?

So if you had the chance to not worry bout HS or college and be a millionaire for making a bunch of poppy songs, you wouldn't take it FOH. Pornstars dont drive lambos dawg, remember that.

I know I'm just chiming in, but there's quite a few porn stars who make 6 figs, and they'll give anybody a credit card to pay for anything

Maybe in a year that's believable.

I really thought it was common knowledge, but you could easily look it up. I'd take his place for the money too, as
long as snorting coke off Kat Stacks was erased from my memory

Not at all.  I could die happily knowing Soulja Boy made millions before I did.  It doesn't phase me at all.
I have my businesses in place, getting my masters right now, and I'm young.  It's just a matter of time homie...

soulja boy's life >>>> yours, though.

you talkin about he's not going to sustain success.

what if someone said your business would flop?

feelskindabatman doesnt it?

Rapping is not a sustainable career anymore unless you have mass appeal like LL Cool J (basically got the ladies jockin you) or Jay-Z.  But there are a handful of very commercially viable rappers and Soulja Boy isn't one anymore. All the tatt's and Gucci Mane wannabe lifestyle ruined that potential.  I remember reading some article from Diddy saying you're lucky if you get 3-4 years out of this business.
However the businesses that I'm involved in, well let's just say my partners have enough for their grandkids to eat and not work.  (I'm not in their shoes yet, I'm still working towards that goal)....sustainable long term growth is what I'm after....NOT overnight success.

But hey, let that boy cook, let him have all the fun in the world...it doesn't affect me...

Just saying.

Exactly a majority of ppl in here are investing tens of hundreds of thousands of dollars in a formal education just to work and be a slave rat race for someone else only to make a quarter of what the education cost. And work for a lifetime only to fall short of what he made off investing a few hundred in a beat machine and a laptop to post a video. And thats off of one single. So i guess 20+ yrs of education, 30+ yrs at a job and still falling short off what he made in a matter of months. Yea you guys are real geniuses.....

What soulja does is no different than what most of these corporations you go to school 6 years to work for do. Create sub par products and services and market/promote the #*** out of them.
More than a couple respectable figures called that boy a marketing genius...so when it comes to self promotion yes he is "smarter" than most
