Make sure to do proprioceptive exercises once you are able to. An example of this would be a wobble board. This will help prevent re-injuring it as frequentlyas you do. That being said, it's important to allow your ankle to heal properly and gradually place weight on it and progress to more aggressive rehab whenpossible. Soft tissue work and stretching are also of great importance. This will allow you to maintain good range of motion of your ankle which will help inmany ways. As a chiropractic student, I'm biased....and will suggest you see one to make sure you have proper joint functioning and to allow your ankle toheal properly. Hope that helps.
