In a pitcher mix 1 can of frozen lemonade concentrate ( save the can for a measurement device)
Then use the empty can and fill it with your favorite vodka...add to pitcher ( i use 1 and a half cans of vodka cuz I like mine stronger)
Then add 4 bottles of your favorite beer to the pitcher and stir

Add onion powder and black pepper...many wins. I use it mostly on chicken. For steak...put some Montreal seasoning on it.

Question for NT experts:

Anyone ever made beer or booze popsicles? If so any tips?

We are planning a BBQ for this weekend and have everything about set and ready....but had a crazy idea to make these too. Wanted to get it just right for ratios if anyone had done this before, thx for any tips!

im going to have to try this.

also,  you go veggies and meat on the same skewer?  i can never get it to cook evenly when i do that so i finally gave up and go all meat (seperated by onion sometimes) and then all veggie since im gonna pull em off the skewers anyways when I eat.

We used to make a drink like this for day parties in college at IU. We used a medium sized Gatorade water dispenser, used the concentrate stuff, added vodka/Everclear and mixed the beer in. It was known as "Porchcrawler." That stuff was straight

I use the grill almost once a day, took 8 large filets of Atlantic Salmon the other night and used a Bobby Flay soy/ginger/dijon mustard glaze recipe and it turned out to be some of the best salmon I've ever made. The grill in the summertime >

Enjoy my friend's blog.

This dude's legit when it comes to BBQ-ing. He's won a few tailgating awards in the SEC during football season.

Yo, anyone have any ideas to liven up hot dogs?

Always a classic, but I'm curious to see if any marinades/rubs/spice combos exist to kick up the flavor a lil bit and give people something they aint really expect..

I've never messed with marinades/rubs/spice combos on a hotdog, but what I have done is throw a slice of broken up American Cheese and let it melt over. Hotdogs can get boring, so I too wouldn't mind some ways to change it up.

not really a whole lot you can do to the dog itself.  moreso the toppings.  only thing i do is wrap them in bacon a la LA Dirty Dogs.  Toss some grilled onions/green peppers on top of that, hit with a bit of mustard and mayo and youre good to go.

Throw all of your BBQ sauces away and cop up on some of Butch's BBQ sauce. I've only had the Superpyro (for someone with a high spice tolerance, this is really spicy, no ducktales), but I told all of my friends about it and I've heard nothing but good things about all of his other sauces. We started getting this at my house around a year ago and we refuse to buy any other BBQ sauce. When we order we usually get around 5 bottles at a time. It's that good.

Kept it simple with this steak. I let the cut of meat and the grill technique make up the flavor. I used a little garlic salt, seasoning salt, fresh crack pepper and a little rosemary! Came out nice

These are my new creation. BBQ Honey Hot Wings. I seasonsed these pretty good, smoke them on the grill for a while, and added a wing sauce I made. Came out pretty good

And these chicken breast were simple salt pepper and rosemary(my fav to cook with)

My tip when grilling Corn.

Get your brush and keep wiping butter on the corn while its cooking and keep brushing it till its cook.

Thank me later.

The skewers on the side cook slower since the heat is usually all coming from the middle so I just let the veggies chill in the corner while I cook everything else. Slow cooked greatness.

I made this tonight.

ojh20y.jpg

5 spice chicken
Asparagus
Twice-baked potatoes

The chicken was excellent. Just the right amount of heat, not too spicy.

I need to work on my food porn photography.
