I haven't seen it yet either but some pics of the the supposed trailer are out there, nothing too spoilery though.

I dunno why he doesn't go and try to be another superhero by now. Plenty left among the 3 options (MCU, FOX, DCEU).

Garfield shot himself in the foot. He should've been the Spiderman for the MCU but slighted Sony at that infamous dinner meeting. It was the fact that him and Emma started going through some things and Andy started being all in his feelings, neglecting responsibilities, growing out a (dope) beard. :{

ASM 2 is still a masterpiece....but I'm team Tom Holland now :o

But seeing Garfield's reveal as Spiderman at comic-con all those years back and how honored and emotional he was to be Spiderman.... tugs at my heart strings man.

Really enjoyed Garfield's Parker/Spider-Man. Minus all the emo stuff(but I understand, that was Sony)

He would have been a nice addition to the MCU. Just have him and Tobey return for the Spider-Man 3: Spider-Verse lol

Tobey Maguire as Spiderman has been completely erased from my memory. Raimi trilogy is trash now

Is this before or after he cries because Harry smashed his dream girl.....twice

Tom Holland for President

Tom Holland is by far the best Spidey persona wise.

His only drawback is his height and his accent.

Andrew Garfield's American accent was so good that I was shocked he was British.

Tom Holland slips a lot into his British accent man. It was most noticeable in his apartment scene with Tony. By the time he put on the Spidey costume, it wasn't so bad.

How much y'all think Holland is getting paid for all these Spidey films?

They locked down ol' boy for a long time, but he's a relatively unknown actor, so I wouldn't be surprised if they lowballed him. Maybe $1-2mm per film?

I personally didn't notice Holland's accent in Civil War and most interpretations of Peter Parker have him anywhere from 5'8-5'10. Holland is 5'8. On route to becoming the definitive on screen spiderman

He's locked in for six films. He's not a big name actor and he's relatively young so his earnings are probably minimal compared to other MCU stars but Marvel is going to shift the focus of the MCU on to Spiderman naturally because he is their flagship character so he's poised to cash out later on down the line

I'm sure Marvel has voice/acting coaches for him, so it shouldn't be a major problem (hopefully) in Homecoming and beyond.

I think Evans made around $300k and Hemsworth made around $200k on their first solo films. This film will be his 2nd appearance as Spidey so I'm not sure what his contract looks like but I doubt it's at a mil. He'll definitely be banking soon though

:lol I remember you saying Garfield was gonna be in the MCU even after he played SONY at that dinner. Swearing up and down.

:lol

Tough people can't cry?

Over the same girl? When you're suppose to have other **** and be too busy to entertain them at that. MJ jumped from Harry, to engaged to John Jonah Jameson, to cheating on Peter with Harry. Raimi made Peter the web slinger but had him slinging weak pee-pee. He's suppose to have these girls going crazy not crying and dancing for them.

:lol

And he was. Sony had come to the agreement with Marvel while Garfield was still under contract...

I remember you saying Spiderman wasn't gonna be in the MCU. Swearing up and down. >D Something about legal bindings, Greg Land posters not making sense, and Axel Alonso not knowing what's going on in the movie universe :lol :Nthat

How you jump from crying to talking about spidey's meat? Not Tobey's fault. He had a good enough stroke game to get Charlize Theron to cheat on her dude who was at war in The Cider House Rules.

description of the supposedly upcoming teaser trailer/clip

"The Spider-Man Homecoming footage was short but AWESOME. Starts from Spidey's POV, talking with Happy Hogan. There's a case from Tony Stark with an "upgrade" for Spidey. Then we see Spidey leap off a building, open his arms, web wings! There were a few more flashes of shots, but I can't remember. That classic underarm webbing look was just so rad."
